It's not easy taking over a school and not easy to renovate one either, but it's always been a dream of Sundi McIntyre which is now coming together at the Spokane Falls Montessori School.
"Closing the doors just broke my heart and I stepped in and I said, 'I'm going to do it! I'm going to try to take it over and turn this place around,'" she said.
When McIntyre took over, Nick Barnes of Shamrock Construction helped. He also has children that attend the school."A lot of parents were taking their kids to other schools just because it was so run down looking and so I'm in the industry and wanted to see what we could do to help her out," Barnes said.Shamrock Construction donated more than $10,000 in materials and services along with its sub-contractors. There's still a lot of work to be done but Sundi McIntyre will be doing it with a smile on her face. (SEE IMAGES BELOW OF THE WORK SO FAR)

Certified Built Green®

On-Top Realty has officially taken over as the listing agency for the newly restored L'Auberge Condos on the lower South Hill. Alternatives If You Don't Qualify for Traditional Mortgage
You apply for a loan, you recieve the loan. That is the ideal scenario. However, this is not the realistic scenario for some people. Some people (maybe you), have circumstances that make it extremely difficult to qualify for a mortgage. Do not give up hope just yet!
Amy Fontinelle, a financial journalist and editor for a variety of websites, public policy organizations, and book publishers, offers four alternative to a traditional mortgage.
Amy recently wrote an article detailing what these alternative options are. She points out that, "Unusual home-financing tactics may be uncommon and hard to come by, but for people who fall into a category that makes it difficult to qualify for a mortgage, there are options to finance a home purchase beyond getting a mortgage from a bank."
