Shamrock Donates Time/Materials to Renovate Montessori School

It's not easy taking over a school and not easy to renovate one either, but it's always been a dream of Sundi McIntyre which is now coming together at the Spokane Falls Montessori School.

"Closing the doors just broke my heart and I stepped in and I said, 'I'm going to do it! I'm going to try to take it over and turn this place around,'" she said.

When McIntyre took over, Nick Barnes of Shamrock Construction helped. He also has children that attend the school.

"A lot of parents were taking their kids to other schools just because it was so run down looking and so I'm in the industry and wanted to see what we could do to help her out," Barnes said.

Shamrock Construction donated more than $10,000 in materials and services along with its sub-contractors. There's still a lot of work to be done but Sundi McIntyre will be doing it with a smile on her face. (SEE IMAGES BELOW OF THE WORK SO FAR)
